What is Home Care?
Whilst many people are more familiar with the concept of residential care, where a person will leave their home to live in a residence with others also needing care, home care works quite differently.
A person receiving home care, or domiciliary care, will have a Carer come and visit them in their own home to provide services like; basic care, domestic tasks, medication management, meal preparation and a whole host of other tasks to support someone to live independently at home. Home care allows those receiving care to remain in familiar surroundings whilst giving family and friends peace of mind for their well-being.
